William Dorminey, Jr.

William Dorminey, Jr. 74, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka, Kansas.

Cremation will take place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery.

Bill was born December 21, 1950, in Valdosta, Georgia the son of William and Neeler (Simmons) Dorminey, Sr.

Bill served in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged with disability. Bill later worked as a civil servant at Fort Riley until his retirement.

Bill enjoyed fishing and tinkering in his workshop.

In 1975, he married Sharon Rose Noffsinger. She passed away April 23, 2022

Survivors include two sons; David Dorminey of Independence, Missouri and Richard (Michelle) Dorminey of Junction City, Kansas; four grandchildren, Kiara, Darian, Ryan and Johnathan; two sisters, Jean Brogdon and Janice Gobin; one half-brother, E.E. Eunice.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Sharon Rose and several brothers.
