Waltraud Smith, 85, of Junction City, Kansas died on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at her home. Cremation will take place and inurnment will take place at Fort Riley Main Post Cemetery at a later date.
Waltraud was born April 28, 1940, in Augsburg, Germany the daughter of Ludwig Gigele.
Waltraud worked at Footlocker in Junction City, Kansas until her retirement.
Survivors include two sons, Ralph Smith of Junction City and Rodger (Frances) Smith of Chapman, Kansas. three grandchildren, Shakira Smith, Jason Smith and Rocky Smith; three great-grandchildren, Ayla Grace, Jaheim Smith and Jaiden Smith.
