Thelma J Thomasson

Thelma Jean Thomasson passed away peacefully in her home on October 8, 2025 at the age of 74. Thelma was born in Holts Summit, Missouri to Lloyd and Marie Vaught on October 29, 1950.

Thelma married the love of her life Robert Thomasson when she was 18 years old and they shared two sons. She loved her family deeply and often would visit her sons until she was no longer able. 

Thelma worked for Scholastic Magazines over 40 years in Jefferson City, Missouri where she retired from in 2013. She loved her job and the people she worked with. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Marie Vaught, husband Robert, and her son Lloyde Thomasson. 

She is survived by her son Robert Thomasson and his wife Melissa. She cared and loved for her extended family that included many nieces and nephews as well as friends that became her family over the years. 

She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
