Ta' Shayla L. "Shay" Gross, 28, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Stormont Vail - Flint Hills Campus in Junction City, Kansas.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the Johnson Funeral Home with Elder Lennon Trawick officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.

Ta' Shayla was born July 14, 1995, in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Michael A. Gross, Sr. and Angela S. Diorio.

Ta' Shayla loved music and dancing. She was a good cook. She was an over protective sister to her siblings and was known as a "Daddy's Girl". She enjoyed raising her four sons and was known for her out going spirit and personality.

Survivors include her four sons, Christopher, Jr., Elijah, Mason and Kameron; father, Michael and wife Crystal Gross of Temple, Texas; five brothers, Mikel, Michael, Jr., Damien, Anthony and Sivon; seven sisters, Tanishia, Tiyanna, Rashawna, Jeaninna, Tatyanna, Tiarra and Aleah; grandfathers, Alan Bouska, Michael Diorio and Elder Lennon Trawick.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Angela S. Diorio on March 27, 2024.
