Lilia Schoenhofer, 45, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on May 4, 2025. She was born on May 24, 1979, in Chicago, Illinois, to Francisco Lopez and Anajulia Delgado.
On December 9, 2001, Lilia married the love of her life, Bryan W. Schoenhofer. Together, they made their home in Junction City, Kansas, and raised a beautiful family.
Lilia proudly served her country in the United States Army for 15 years as a Correction and Detention Non-Commissioned Officer. She was especially proud of her work as a military investigator, a role in which she displayed exceptional integrity, attention to detail, and a deep sense of justice.
She is survived by her parents, Francisco and Anajulia Lopez; her brother, Adolfo Lopez; her beloved husband, Bryan Schoenhofer; her children, Jorden, Mathias, Silas, and Ilias Schoenhofer, as well as Alexandra and Jarius Brown; and her cherished granddaughter, Delilah Brown.
Funeral services will be held on May 16th at 10:00 a.m. at the Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery in Manhattan, Kansas, officiated by Father Kerry Ninemire.
In honor of Lilia’s service and legacy, memorial contributions may be made to the Society of the First Infantry Division.
