Sandra Dee Worland, 61, of Junction City, KS, passed away on May 9, 2021. Johnson Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
A private inurnment will be held at a later date at the Fort Riley Post Cemetery.
Sandra was born on September 27, 1959, in Fort Benning, Georgia, to Tommy Oakes and Clovis (Conkle) Small. As a child of a military family, she lived in many duty stations and the family ultimately settled in Dwight, KS. She met a service member by the name of Joseph Worland and they later married. He later passed away in 2004.
Sandra had a strong work ethic. She worked in the food service industry for many years in the Junction City area. On her time off, she enjoyed embroidering and bead work, watching Professional Wrestling on Mondays and Fridays, and she was an avid animal lover.
Sandra is survived by her loving family: Long Time Partner, Thomas "TC" Collins of Junction City, KS; her parents Edward and Clovis Small of Dwight, KS; four siblings Lillie Rice, Willard Small, Charlie Small, and Matthew (Melinda) Small; many nieces and nephews; her friends from Crocker, MO; and a host of loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Worland and sister, Deborah Lynn Waldrup.
