Roseann Gallero Watkins, born on March 19, 1988, passed away on July 16, 2026. Her departure leaves a profound void felt by all who knew and loved her.

Roseann was the beloved daughter of Robert Schierschmidt and Remedios Schierschmidt. Other survivors include her siblings: Rachelle VanLandschoot, Lee Ann Schierschmidt, Darlyn Theisen, Kyle and Bobby Schierschmidt. She was a devoted mother, survived by her sons, Brodie Leonardo Gorman, Rowen Ivan Gorman, and Xavier Brice Watkins, as well as her daughters, Alexis Lynn Watkins and Bella Renee’ Watkins; beloved dog, Capone Watkins; Father-in-law, David Watkins and his wife Jill and her Mother-in-law, Sonya Watkins and her significant other Terry Umfleet. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and family members in the Philippines. Roseann’s dedication to her family was unwavering, and she forged deep, lasting connections with each.

Throughout her life, Roseann will be remembered for her steadfast commitment to her loved ones, her compassionate spirit, and her strength in the face of challenges. As a mother, daughter, sister, and friend, she provided comfort, guidance, and inspiration. Roseann’s ability to remain loyal and supportive defined her relationships and endeared her to many. She served in the United States Army and was an Iraq War Veteran. She was loved by her peers and subordinates. 

Friends and family are invited to gather in her honor for a visitation on July 24, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Johnson & Mass-Hinitt Funeral Home 203 N Washington St, Junction City, KS 66441. A ceremony with military honors will follow at 7:00 PM at the same location following the visitation. 

Roseann’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who cherished her, and she will be deeply missed.
