Ronald F. Burgess

Ronald F. Burgess died unexpectedly on January 7, 2025 at his home in Junction City, Kansas. Born July 26, 1958 in Buffalo, New York, he was the loving son of the late Robert (Bessie) Burgess and the late Myrna (William) Anderson. He is survived by siblings John (Tsukasa) Burgess, Kevin (Kitty) Burgess, Sandra (Owen) Ward and step-brothers William and David Anderson.

Ron served honorably for many years in the military as an infantryman and mechanic. After his discharge he remained in Kansas where he worked and spent time restoring vehicles, caring for his cats and helping his neighbors. He was an avid outdoorsman and also enjoyed nostalgia and all things vintage.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Hamburg, New York, on June 20, 2025.
