Reggie E. Blocker

Reggie E. Blocker, age 52, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025 in his home.

Reggie was born on June 18, 1972 in Marysville, Kansas, the son of Galen D. and Joyce E. (Cohorst) Blocker. He graduated from Valley Heights High School in 1991. When he was young, he started working on the family farm with his grandfather and uncles. Reggie went to school and became a licensed welder, where he held several jobs welding. He also obtained several jobs in the area of construction. Reggie enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. He enjoyed family get-togethers, especially playing ten point pitch. He also enjoyed tinkering with small mechanical engines.

Reggie is survived by his four children Zacharia Workman of Wichita, Kansas, Hayley Blocker of Victoria, Texas, Hunter Blocker of Victoria, Texas, and Trista Blocker of Concordia, Kansas; two brothers Brent A. (Brenda) Blocker of Chapman, Kansas and Tim D. Blocker of Hutchinson, Kansas; two sisters Angie M. Morris (James Jr.) of Junction City, Kansas and Emily D. LaBarge of Billings, Montana.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joyce and Galen Blocker; maternal grandparents Carl and Erleine Cohorst; paternal grandparents Herman and Effie Blocker; niece Hannah Blocker-Bellin and nephew Blaine LaBarge; and several other uncles and aunts.

Graveside services are to be determined.
