Norman Thomas Wayne Brown

Norman Thomas Wayne Brown, 90, Green, Kanas, died Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Tallgrass Healthcare Campus in Junction City, Kansas.

Cremation will take place. A memorial service to honor Mr. Brown will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2026 at the Johnson and Mass-Hinitt Funeral Home in Junction City. Pastor Tommy Brown and Pastor Jimmy Brown will officiate. A graveside service will follow the memorial service at 1 p.m. at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery with full military honors.

Norman Thomas Wayne Brown was born July 19, 1936 at Gideon, Missouri the son of Wilson and Grace Ruth (Osborne) Brown.

Mr. Brown served in the United States Army until his retirement in 1975. After his retirement from the military, he moved to rural Missouri where he worked several jobs. He moved back to Kansas in 1981 and settled in Green, Kansas. After the settlement in Green, Norman and his wife Connie bought her parents home. This was the same home where they were married on September 7, 1957. After moving to Green, he worked for a swine farm in Clay County. 

Some hobbies included fishing, hunting, playing bingo and traveling. He was very passionate about spending quality time with family. 

Survivors include his loving wife Connie Brown of the home in Green, Kansas; three sons, Franklin Brown and his wife Patricia, David Brown his wife Debra and Roger Brown and his wife Linda; one daughter, Monica Cradduck and her husband Jerry; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and eleven siblings. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the Disabled American Veterans.
