Marcella Williams, 73, of Junction City, Kansas died on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Marcella was born December 7, 1952, in Cleveland, Ohio the daughter of Willie B. and Veola (Crowder) Smith.
Marcella served in the United States Army. She later worked for Foot Locker in Junction City, Kansas and Irwin Army Community Hospital at Fort Riley.
Marcella spent a lot of time playing bingo at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie 830, as well as enjoying trips to casinos to play slot machines and other games. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 8773 and was an active member of the Junction City community and always willing to help out neighbors in need.
Marcella married her husband Thomas Clifton Williams, with whom she shares three children with. Thomas passed away in 2020.
Survivors include one son, Quinton T. Williams of Junction City, Kansas; two daughters, Marquetta Williams of Junction City, Kansas and Alyssa Williams of Cleveland, Ohio; her partner, Zoraida; and granddaughter Demajae. Her presense will be greatly missed from the lives of her family and all who had the priviliege of knowing her.
Cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. A graveside service will also be conducted in the future at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery.
