Linda A. Hofman, age 72, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away quietly at home on June 21, 2024.
Linda was born December 6, 1951, in Ft. Benning, Georgia, the daughter of Ray and Doris (Bock) Hofman. Ray’s military career had the family stationed twice in Ft. Benning, along with Ft. McClellan, Alabama and Ft. Richardson, Alaska, before coming to Manhattan in 1963. She graduated from Manhattan High School in 1969.
Linda completed her BA degree from Kansas State and worked as a graphic artist in the healthcare industry for several years before returning to Kansas State to complete her teaching requirements. The next twenty-five years Linda was able to utilize her creative talents as an elementary art teacher in the Junction City school district. This position required her to travel to multiple schools within the district as well as manage art supplies for multiple class plans. She was often recognized around Junction City by many of her previous students.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents: Ray and Doris Hofman and brother Lawrence Hofman.
Survivors include siblings: Jerrel Hofman (Jennifer) of Round Rock, TX, and Jeff Hofman (partner, Patricia Stevenson) of Grand Junction, CO.
