Listen to Obituary

With hearts heavy beyond words, we remember and celebrate the brief but profoundly bright life of Kiara G. Ridgeway, affectionately known as "Pumpkin," a little firecracker who brought immense joy to her family in her short time with them. Born on April 30, 2026, in Junction City, Kansas, Kiara's presence was like a tiny spark that lit up the lives of all she touched, especially when surrounded by her cherished siblings.

Kiara was a true mommy's girl whose laughter and spirit shone most brilliantly in the company of her brother, Austin Ridgeway Jr., and her sisters, Audrey Dimitt and Madilynn Ridgeway. Her infectious enthusiasm and warmth made every moment with her a treasure. She had a special glow, a vivacity that enlivened every room she entered, reminding those around her of the profound beauty in the smallest spark of life. Though her days were few, they were filled with boundless affection and the deep love of her family.

She arrived and departed from the place she called home, Junction City, Kansas, leaving behind an everlasting imprint on the hearts of her parents, Kelly and Austin Ridgeway, whose love for Kiara was immeasurable. Her grandparents, Amy and Wayne Cartee, and her great-grandfather Albert Ridgeway, carry her memory as a precious gift, while her aunts, Megan Cartee, Charity Marcum, and Diana Dimitt, held her close as a beloved niece. Kiara’s cherished great-grandmothers, Linda Ridgeway and Nina Dimitt, who preceded her in passing, now watch over her from above, joining in the eternal embrace of family love.

Though Kiara's time with us was heartbreakingly brief, her spirit remains a shining star of hope, light, and love—a reminder that even the smallest flame can illuminate the darkest corners of our hearts. In this profound sorrow, her family and friends find comfort in the knowledge that Pumpkin’s flame will forever burn brightly in their souls.

Rest peacefully, dear Kiara, cradled by the steadfast love of those who hold you so dearly, forever a shining spark in the tapestry of their lives.
