Keith A Rea

Keith Allen Rea, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 30. Born on March 26, 1996, in the warm and welcoming community of Somerset, Kentucky, Keith was a cherished presence in the lives of everyone who knew him. 

Keith was the beloved son of John Curtis Rea and the late Donna Lee Rea. Growing up in a nurturing family environment, he shared countless cherished moments with his siblings, Kathleen McGee, Jessica Mollenkamp, Patricia Campbell, and Kansas Kopietz along with his eleven nieces and nephews. Together, they formed a bond that only strengthened over the years. 

A graduate of Herington High School, Keith was known for his infectious laugh and the warmth he brought into every room. His heart was as vast as it was kind; he was the embodiment of resilience and compassion. Keith had an extraordinary ability to find joy in life’s simple pleasures, whether it was gathering around a bonfire with family and friends, casting a line into the water while fishing, or exploring the open waters on a boat. Yet, his greatest happiness was found in the company of his son, Jackson, with whom he shared countless moments of laughter, dancing, and love.

Keith's life was a testament to the power of positivity and kindness. He always found something to laugh about, and his laughter was infectious, spreading smiles to those around him. His strength and generosity of spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Keith had a unique talent for making others feel valued and cherished, a gift that will be dearly missed.

He leaves behind his cherished son, Jackson, who will carry forward his father’s legacy of joy and love. Keith's memory will also be lovingly preserved by his father, John Rea, and his devoted siblings, Kathleen, Jessica, Patricia, and Kansas. Though he is no longer with us, the love Keith shared will forever be a guiding light for his family and friends.

Keith joins his beloved mother, Donna Lee Rea, in eternal rest, where we are certain their reunion is filled with peace and joy.

Keith Allen Rea’s life was a beautiful tapestry of love, laughter, and light. As we say goodbye, we hold tight to the memories of a man who enriched our lives in countless ways. May his spirit continue to inspire all who knew him.
