Kathleen M. Reagan, affectionately known as Kathy, passed away on February 23, 2026, at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, Kansas. She was born on January 22, 1948, Junction City, Kansas, and her life was characterized by her dedication to family, community, and her passions.
Kathy spent many years working in customer service, a role where her friendly demeanor and commitment to helping others shone through. In addition to her professional contributions, she engaged profoundly with her community by volunteering at the Wakefield Museum, sharing her love for history and culture with visitors.
Outside of her career and volunteer work, Kathy had a multitude of interests that brought her joy. A passionate reader and a lover of crossword puzzles, Kathy was also an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, supporting her team with unparalleled enthusiasm. However, her true happiness came from the time she spent with her family and her beloved dog, Bella. The bonds she nurtured with her loved ones were central to her life.
Kathy is survived by her son, William "Billy" Boltz of Wakefield, KS; daughters, Kellie Boltz-Swango of Junction City, KS, and Kimberly (Dennis) Boltz-Bolte of Milford, KS; five brothers, Mick McCallister of Junction City, KS, Mitch McCallister of Newton, KS, Danny McCallister of Wakefield, KS, Larry McCallister of Isabel, TX, and Marty McCallister of Junction City, KS. She will also be lovingly remembered by her eight grandchildren, Karsen Wisherd, Brooke Swango, Justin Bolte, Steven Bolte, Elizabeth Paulson, Madison Boltz, Boedi Boltz, and Lexy Boltz, alongside six great-grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, James C. O'Malley, her mother, Vurley V. McGuire, and her son-in-law, Rick Swango.
A graveside service will be, Friday, March 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kansas Veteran's Cemetery, Manhattan, Kansas. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Milford City Building from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Kathy leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and the unwavering love she shared with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
