Johnny Dale Lancaster, 69, of Junction City, KS passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan, KS after a period of declining health due to Lewy Body Dementia. Cremation has taken place with the assistance of Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to an organization of donor's choice.
Johnny was a resident of Junction City since 1996. He was born on September 4, 1942 in Brownwood, TX to Alma (Railsback) and JD Lancaster. He spent 33 years working in the construction field as a millwright.
He is survived by his wife, Kay of the home, daughter, Teresa (Marty) Williams of Yukon, OK; son, Jacob (Whitney) Lancaster of Junction City, KS; three step-children: Jessica (John) Strange of Chesterfield, VA; Sarah (Sean) Holmes of Cleveland, MO; Daniel Wacker of San Francisco, CA. Six step-grandchildren; his aunt, Velma Bean of Goldthwaite, TX; two sisters: Wanda Fortner of Gainesville, TX and Mary (Stan) Medeiros of Gallatin, MO; numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
