Jeffery Lynn Trotter

MSG Jeffery Lynn Trotter, age 66, went home to be with the Lord on October 30, 2026. A beloved son, brother, and friend, Jeff will be remembered for his big heart. Jeff was a proud retired Army Master Sargent (24 yrs), serving in Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan. He loved serving this country and all his fellow soldiers.

Jeff is survived by his two sisters, Judy Wells (Fred) and Carla Anderson (Dennis) and brother in law Dru Carlson, former wife Gabriela Trotter (27 yrs), five nieces and two nephews. Preceding in death are his mother and father, Iris Royce Trotter (Rosie the Riveter) and Carl Perry Trotter, Jr. (Navy and Army served in Iwo Jima WWII), three sisters “Mattie”, Robin and Cindy Mathison. Also, preceding him in death are two nephews.

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;” John 14:16

The family will receive friends 10-12 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2026 at the Johnson and Mass-Hinitt Funeral Home in Junction City, Kansas. A graveside service with full military honors will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery near Manhattan, Kansas.
