Jacquelin was born February 8, 1989 in Orange City, CA the daughter of Jorge and Angela Maria (Ocampo) Bautista.
On January 5, 2021, Jackie moved to Junction City, KS to live with her brother Anthony Medina and her sister-in-law Rebecca. At the time, she had been diagnosed with stage four cancer. Her intention with moving to Junction City to be near family was to get her life in order. She was preparing for her transition from earth to heaven. At that time, she started attending Faith Tabernacle Church and she obeyed the Acts 2:38 message where she was baptized in JESUS name and she received the gift of the HOLY GHOST with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the Spirit gave the utterance.
Jackie enjoyed traveling. She traveled forty seven states driving her own vehicle. Her last job was driving a school bus in Kansas City, MO. She made a lot of friends and acquaintances as she traveled the country. She enjoyed driving so much, she became an over the road truck driver and operated her own business. She loved every moment of being self-employed. To visit all fifty states was on her bucket list of things to do. Jackie really liked children. Her like for children was the key decision to become a school bus driver.
Jackie really liked the ocean and spending time near water. Her goal was to live on the ocean and work near the ocean. She could spend hours visiting amusement parks riding all the rides. It was not uncommon for her to get in her car and take a spontaneous drive to California for a long weekend to visit friends and family.
Survivors include her father Jorge Bautista and her step-mother Angelica Bautista; her adopted grandparents Robert and Nancy Warfel of Junction City, KS; one brother, Anthony Medina and his wife Rebecca of Junction City, KS; two sisters, Angie Soto of Laguna Hills, CA and Julia Bautista of El Monte, CA; her aunt, Luz Perez and her cousin, Berenice Perez, Arturo Perez and Itzel Pereza all of California; best friends, Bro and her five children, Josue, Daniela, Lalo, Yulisa and Matthew of CA, Jose and his family from Kansas City, MO and Kevia and extended family of Manhattan, KS; and her four pillars from the church which included Debra Pugh, Cheryl Martin, Debra Printup and Grandma Nancy Warfel; host of other friends and relatives.
