Gladys Cafferty

Gladys E. Cafferty passed away on the morning of October 11th at the age of 90. Her final years were spent in her daughter’s loving and capable care, surrounded by as much family as time, distance, and health would allow. 

She joins her husband, Daryl Cafferty, who passed 43 years prior, her parents, four of her brothers – Mac, Lovett, Paul, and Bobby – and her two sisters – Sallie Syms and Mary Godbee. 

She leaves behind her brother Jimmy Clarke, sister-in-law Sandy Halfmann, daughter Evelyn Stites, son-in-law Rod Stites, two sons Charles and Daryl Cafferty, six grandchildren – Jessica and Brent Stites and Zac, Ethan, Alex, and Charles Cafferty – and two great-grandchildren, Kaden and Hensley Cafferty, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be greatly missed by all the friends she made around the world throughout her long life filled with many adventures.
