Dwight L. Potter, 88, of Milford, Kansas died Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Ascension Via Christi - St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.
Dwight was born July 18, 1935 in South Gate, California the son of Dwight Willis and Frances Laura (Graham) Potter.
Dwight worked as radiological physicist with medical services in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Junction City First Ward in Junction City, Kansas.
He married Mary Theresa Steffen. Mary preceded him in death June 15, 2022. He was also married to Ursula Charlotte Wilma Rescke. Ursula preceded him in death May 20, 1992. He was also married to Wanda Lee. She preceded him in death December 26, 2020.
Survivors include one sister, Christina Potter; five sons; Gregory Potter, Dwight Mitchell Potter, Kelly Potter, Douglas Potter, and Jeremy Kennedy; three daughters, Laura Green, Shannon Kennedy, Meghan Stuhmer, as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great, great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three wives; two brothers, Kenneth Potter and Christopher Potter; and one daughter, Frances Jolene Field.
A visitation will take place at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Junction City First Ward on Friday, January 12, 2024, 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Dwight will be interred at Milford Cemetery following the funeral service.
