Donald E. Fleener

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Edward Fleener, 81, of Milford, Kansas, on September 3, 2026.

Don was born February 20, 1945, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and grew up in Lawrence, Indiana.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, he served his country for 20 years, 10 months, and two days. After his military career, he worked 23 years for contract service contractors at Fort Riley, Kansas.

Don is survived by his wife, Charlotte; his children, Dona, Helen, and Gary; and his stepchildren, Terry, Tisha (husband Terry), and Tina. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

In keeping with his wishes, Don has chosen cremation. There will be no funeral service or celebration of life.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Disabled American Veterans, or Shriners Children’s.
