Dawnette Marie Laudemann, born Dawnette Marie Pearson on April 27, 1975, in Wichita, Kansas, passed away on July 5, 2026, in Kansas City, Kansas. Her life, marked by boundless compassion, steadfast dedication, and quiet strength, leaves a profound legacy for those who knew and loved her.

Dawnette spent her early years in the heartland of Kansas, developing a love for the land and community values that would shape her journey. In a defining moment of her life, Dawnette married Bill Laudemann on May 10, 1997. Their partnership was one of unwavering loyalty and teamwork, rooted in shared values and a love of farm life. As a farmer’s wife, Dawnette was always present and lending a hand — whether it meant working the fields, caring for animals, or stepping up in countless ways behind the scenes.

Family was always at the center of Dawnette's world. She was the devoted mother of Savannah Laudemann, Shania Laudemann-Hall, and Angelica Hinostroza. She took immense pride and joy in being a grandmother to Zenith Hall and Ryleigh Hall, cherishing every moment spent supporting them at sporting events and school activities. Her role as “Mom” was not limited to her own children; she was known as a loving, selfless figure who welcomed her daughters’ friends with open arms and provided a source of support and comfort to all who needed it.

Dawnette’s life was enriched by her many passions. She found peace and pleasure in fishing and spending time outdoors. Nothing brought her more joy than driving tractors, tending to her beloved cows, and traveling during harvest time, often shouldering responsibilities with a gentle competence. She created cherished memories on family excursions, especially road trips through the mountains with her girls.

Renowned for her selflessness and strength of character, Dawnette’s warmth touched all generations, and her caring nature made her a steady foundation for family and friends alike. Those closest to her remember her as supportive and generous, someone who celebrated the achievements and joys of others above her own.

Among Dawnette’s most treasured accomplishments was becoming a grandmother — a role she embraced with boundless pride and love. Her legacy lives on in the lives she nurtured, the traditions she upheld, and the countless memories she created with those she held dear.

Surviving Dawnette are her husband, Bill Laudemann; her daughters, Shania Laudemann-Hall and Angelica Hinostroza; and her grandchildren, Zenith Hall and Ryleigh Hall. She is also survived by her many siblings and their families. They, along with the many friends and extended family members she touched, will always hold her lovingly in their hearts.

Dawnette was preceded in death by her father Michael Pearson Sr. and her daughter Savannah Raylynn Laudemann.

Her memory will be a guiding light for all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who walk the paths she once traveled.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
