Clinton W. Burger, 71, passed away on May 5, 2026 in Salina, Kansas. He was born on June 17, 1954 in Verdum, France to Benjamin and Virginia Burger.

Clinton proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army from 1971 to 1976. Following his military service, he pursued a career as a plumber, a trade he practiced for most of his life. His skills and work ethic also led him to his final job as a janitor and maintenance man at Martin Luther King Jr. Child Development Center in Salina, Kansas. Through these roles, Clinton contributed to his community with diligence and care. 

Clinton is survived by his daughter Angelique M. (Jerry) Padel and grandsons Caleb and Wesley Padel all of Junction City, Kansas. He is also survived by his sisters Vaughan Connley of Tucson, Arizona; Debra Pendergraph of Haymarket, Virginia; Sandra Burger of Alcoa, Tennessee; along with many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory. 

Clinton was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Susan Burger. 

Clinton's life was marked by hard work and devotion to those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him. 

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service with military honors will will take place on May 19, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery located at 5181 Wildcat Creek Road, Manhattan, Kansas 66503.
