Clarence Edward Bean

January 25, 1961 — August 25, 2021

Clarence Edward Bean formerly of Junction City, Kansas departed this life on August 25th, 2021. A worship memorial service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church. Burial will follow the service at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery with military honors.

He was born January 25th, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan to James Adolph Bean, Sr. and Ida Mae Bean. He enlisted in the US Army in Detroit and served four and one-half years. He traveled to Louisville, Kentucky where he completed his military basic training. It was there, that he met the love of his life, Drenna Carletta Harris. They got married June 3rd, 1989. His service to his country consisted of many assignments and deployments to include Desert Storm.

After successful completion of his military service, Clarence worked as a civilian at Geary Community Hospital for a while and then transitioned to Fort Riley as a Contractor. He currently was employed as a Bus Driver for Flint Hills Transportation (ATA Bus) until his passing.

Clarence received several certificates and award accommodations to include Warehouseman ECC, Medication Administration Recognition, Eagle Support Corporation, and for reading his bible through in a year.

However, the most important award that Clarence received was the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues and then being baptized in the Name of Jesus. Clarence and Drenna were baptized on September 23, 1990 at Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church, Junction City, Kansas.

He enjoyed giving bible studies together with Drenna and doing the work of the Lord. Clarence was very passionate about his work.

He leaves behind to mourn his wife of 32 years, Drenna Carletta Bean of the home; two brothers, James A. Bean Jr., Gary Bean (Robin); two sisters, Mary Frances Moore and Eloise Marie Strickland, and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Adolph Bean and mother, Ida Mae Bean.

Clarence will be greatly missed by his family and church family.
