With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ambria R. Fulmore, a vibrant soul taken too soon on June 4, 2026. Born on February 17, 2014, Ambria's brief but brilliant journey on this earth was marked by an extraordinary zest for life, a compassionate spirit, and a shining light that touched the lives of all who knew her.
Ambria was a lively and bubbly young girl whose confidence and leadership shone brightly in every endeavor she pursued. Whether leading her peers as part of the Link Leadership program at Junction City Middle School—where she was known for her intelligence and consistent academic excellence—or sharing laughter and adventure with her many friends, Ambria’s spirit was unstoppable. Her love for life was evident in her endless curiosity and passion for learning, which once inspired her to dream of becoming a marine biologist before her caring heart settled on the noble goal of becoming a teacher.
Her vibrant talents were showcased as a devoted percussionist in her band, always eager to explore new instruments and sounds. Ambria was a proud competitor with the Next Step Dance Studio, earning numerous trophies and medals through her dedication to competition dance. Her athletic spirit flourished at the YMCA, where she tried many sports, but her true passion belonged to volleyball as part of the Momentum Volleyball Club.
Beyond her talents and achievements, Ambria’s soul gleamed brightest in the tender relationships she nurtured. She shared a special bond with her younger sister Adriana, a connection filled with love and protection despite their age difference. Ellie and Journei stood as her closest friends, companions who were woven into the fabric of her happiest memories. Family trips to Myrtle Beach were treasured times for Ambria, where she delighted in collecting seashells, always hoping to find the elusive conche shell to bring home—a symbol of her love for nature and family togetherness.
Ambria embraced all things glamorous, spending joyful moments adorning her nails, lashes, and makeup, radiating the same sparkle that defined her personality. Her caring nature was ever-present; she worried about others and never let life's challenges dim her firecracker spirit.
She leaves behind a loving and devoted family who celebrate her joy and mourn her absence: her parents, Adrian and Allison Fulmore; her brothers Zavion and Ibn Lucero-Fulmore; her sisters Adriana Fulmore, Isabella Lucero-Fulmore, and Inocencia Lucero-Fulmore. Her grandmothers, Barb Hoskinson and Italine Davis, and her great-grandmother, Inez Bellin, carry forward her memory with love. She was also deeply cherished by her uncle and best friend, Luke Hoskinson, as well as her aunts Harriette (Norman) Hankins, Stacie (Ronnie) Chatfield, and Darlene Mouzon. Ambria is lovingly remembered as well as being predeceased by her grandfathers, Max Hoskinson and Sammy Lee Mouzon.
A service in honor of Ambria’s beautiful life will be held at the Junction City Church of the Nazarene (JCNaz) at 1025 South Washington Street, Junction City, KS 66441 on June 11, 2026, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The funeral will be followed by a graveside service at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery, 5181 Wildcat Creek Road, Manhattan, KS 66503, starting at 1:00 p.m.
Though Ambria’s time with us was far too short, her sparkling light, compassionate heart, and boundless energy remain etched forever in the hearts of those who loved her. Her story—full of laughter, love, ambition, and joy—serves as a cherished legacy and reminder to live fully and love deeply. Rest peacefully, dear Ambria. Your spirit will always shine brightly, lighting the way for all who were blessed to know you.
