Alan was born in Berlin, Wisconsin on July 8, 1960 the son of Wayne and Emily (Mullenix) Kracht.
A visitation will take place on Thursday July 17, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm at Johnson & Mass-Hinitt Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday July 18, 2025 at 11:30am at at Johnson & Mass-Hinitt Funeral Home with a graveside service at Kansas Veteran's Cemetery to follow at 1pm.
Alan graduated from Hortonville High School Class of 1979. He enlisted in the Army in Feb of 1982.
Alan completed 20 years of Military Service. He was a Gulf War Veteran and Desert Storm Veteran. During his military deployment to Korea, he met is wife Cho Sun OK. They were married on August 5, 1985 in Seoul, South Korea.
Alan worked as a civilian contractor on Ft. Riley as a Heavy Equipment Lead and Mechanic from 1995 to 2023. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He treasured being out in nature. He enjoyed fishing for Walleye. He was a skillfull Bow Hunter and loved bird hunting with his dogs. He was a huge fan of the Green Bay Packers and after further review the Bears still Suck!
He is survived by his wife of 39 years Sun OK Kracht of Junction City, Kansas; Sister Renee (Robert) Running of New London, Wisconsin; Niece Gabby Paul of Green Bay, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his sister Cheryl Kracht and his parents Wayne and Emily Kracht.
He was a very loving and loyal Husband, Brother, Son, and Friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
